  1. Hi Ying / Suri! I love the name of your blog -very clever! Well done for putting your first post up. You have a friendly, chatty style that really suits blogging. You also have some great pictures although I would have liked more detail about them - especially the recipe for your red bean paste and rice cake!! You have found an interesting blogger but I'm not sure why you chose her and not one of the ELT bloggers we reviewed? I think they are a better model for the kind of blog you will make. Cathrin Manning seems to be the kind of blogger who is mainly interested in the commercial side. There seem to be two very different stances on blogging: 1) that it's mainly a way to make money 2) that it's a way to share useful information for free. However sadly even those who start out just sharing end up selling (Jamie Keddie, Nik Peachey, Larry Ferlazzo....). Your last point was intriguing - I would have liked more information about those 4 items of software! Thanks again for your self-introduction and I hope you enjoy your blogging journey!

  2. Hi Ying, it is nice to see so many beautiful shots in the UK, and I guess you love recording life and could be a vlogger (maybe). Personally, I believe blogging is a good way to share experiences and thoughts about life. Finally, I am interested in the software for beautifying pictures and maybe you can share in detail in the future!

You should know how to motivate your students!

You Should Know How To Motivate Your Students! I guess one of the things that a lot of English teachers struggle with is how to make the classroom both productive and fun. In other words, how to stimulate your students' enthusiasm for classroom participation? Please imagine your students are drowsy, in a daze, or unwilling to answer your question. What an embarrassing thing it is!  Is my class so boring?  😨 Don't worry about that!
